Radio App ("we", "our", "the app") is a free internet radio streaming application for Android. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Location data: We request access to your device's approximate location to automatically show radio stations available in your area. Your location is processed locally on your device and is not sent to our servers or shared with third parties.
Favorites and preferences: Your favorite stations, sleep timer settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials. We do not track your listening history on any server. We do not use analytics or tracking tools. We do not display advertisements.
The app uses the Radio Browser API (radio-browser.info), a free and open-source community service, to retrieve radio station information and stream URLs. When you play a radio station, your device connects directly to that station's streaming server. We have no control over the privacy practices of individual radio stations or streaming servers.
Internet: Required to stream radio content and fetch station data from the Radio Browser API.
Location: Used to determine your city and show local radio stations. You can deny this permission — the app will default to Jakarta stations.
Foreground service: Required for background audio playback so radio continues playing when the app is minimized.
The app does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
